Originally from South East London and now based in Bearsted, Kent, Helen Alexander-Bristow is an illustrator and painter whose creative journey began as a personal outlet for managing anxiety and depression. With a long-standing love for illustrated books and a deep passion for visual storytelling, Helen was determined to turn her creativity into a meaningful career.

Her painting style in acrylics is loose, expressive, and richly textured—offering a striking contrast to the delicate detail of her watercolour and gouache illustrations. Both approaches, however, share a vibrant energy and a clear artistic voice that runs throughout her work.
