About the charity
Demelza delivers extraordinary care to extraordinary children who are facing serious or life-limiting conditions in Tunbridge Wells and across Kent, East Sussex and South East London.
Your involvement in the trail means we can raise awareness and vital funds, to continue providing support to children and families.
The trail will introduce Demelza to families who need our support, whether it be at one of our sites, at home, in the local community, or online. Our range of services include practical support, art and music therapy, sibling support and symptom management. Demelza also has amazing accessible facilities such as a hydro pool and sensory room.
There’s an estimated unmet need in Tunbridge Wells and the surrounding area, with around thousands of families in the South East who could access Demelza’s services. Demelza are already supporting many families in Tunbridge Wells, and our nurses work in Tunbridge Wells Hospital every week.
Once the trail concludes, a selection of the large sculptures will be auctioned, with all proceeds going directly to Demelza.
